Callie - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 529280 Birthdate: October 29, 2019 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Callie is a sweet and shy young cat who came to the SPCA as a stray found with a couple kittens. She has since been spayed and is ready to start her new life with her fur-ever family. Callie is a bit of a timid cat who would be happiest in a quiet, calm home (no young kids please) where she can have the time she needs to adjust and come out of her shell. She may like to have places to hide initially to help her feel safe in a new place. A gentle, patient guardian who gives her time will be rewarded with a lovely companion. Once she's comfortable with someone Callie loves having pets and getting attention. We're not sure if she'll ever be a lap cat or if she'll be a bit more independent cat. As she gains confidence her personality will show more and more. One of her favourite things to do in her foster home was lay on the windowsill enjoying the view and the sun (who doesn't love a good sun spot). We're not sure if Callie has ever been around other animals so testing and proper, slow introductions would be important.
