Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops Animal ID: 478871 Birthdate: November 21, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Daisy was surrender to the Kamloops BCSPCA because her owner couldn't afford vet care for Daisy. Since being in the shelters care she has been diagnosed with environmental allergies, so she may require ongoing vet care and medication for life depending on how well the allergies are managed by her future guardians. She requires a special food as well. Daisy is a sociable and very friendly dog. She is house-trained and has lived with dogs, cats, and children. Her previous guardian describes her as friendly, playful, active, affectionate, cuddly, calm, and quiet. Daisy can get easily over excited at times. She would love lots of exercise and outings with her future guardian(s). Good obedience and a confident guardian is important. Daisy likes to be with people so may get anxious when left alone. She will need to get used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time. Daisy is a fun dog who does everything in life with enthusiasm. She is happy and loves life. She will make a wonderful companion to a lucky guardian! A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal to ensure success.
