George - Domestic Longhair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 518681 Birthdate: October 16, 2008 - Senior Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Gentleman George is a wonderful senior cat looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can enjoy lots of love and pets. This affectionate guy prefers a quiet environment where he can enjoy the finer things in life, cat naps and cuddles. He would do best in a home without young kids as they can be a bit too noisy for him. He enjoys a peaceful and quiet home. We're not sure if he's lived with other animals before so testing and slow introductions would be very important. Hyper, energetic animals would probably not be to his liking. George likes to have places to hide at first until he's comfortable but adjusts fairly quickly to a new environment. As a senior it will be important to keep up with regular vet checks and a good diet. George has so very much love to give and would love to have someone to spend lots of time with. He will make a wonderful and loving companion. **GEORGE IS JUST WAITING FOR A DENTAL SURGERY BEFORE HE CAN GO HOME BUT WILL SOON BE READY. A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.
