Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 510357 Birthdate: November 25, 2013 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Piper was surrendered to the Kamloops & District SPCA because his previous guardian could no longer afford to care for him. Piper is looking for an experienced dog owner and a home with no small animals, children or livestock. He has a strong dislike for strangers and is very protective. So he may come across as aggressive towards people when in certain situations(he is on medication to help manage this in the shelter environment). Piper does get easily over excited and tends to jump up. He needs a guardian(s) that can provide lots of exercise and outings. He loves going for car rides! and you can always find him with a toy stuffie in his mouth. Piper appears to be fully house-trained but may initially want to mark his territory when in new environments. He is very strong on leash so this something his new guardian(s) needs to be prepared to work on. Piper's had issues with other male dogs in the past but has lived peacefully with medium-large female dogs. **We've made changes to our adoption process. To adopt: 1.
