Brewster - Pit Bull Terrier Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 436349 Birthdate: December 28, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Brewster is a LARGE, sweet boy that is looking for his new furr-ever home. He loves being around people and thinks he's a lap dog. He appears to be full house trained and knows some basic obedience. So far he gets along with a few of the other dogs here at the Kamloops shelter. Brewser would probably do fine in a home with older kids. We don't know what he would be like around other types of animals (i.e cats, horses) He is overweight so his future guardian(s) need to be prepared to help him get to a healthy weight. Brewster does appear to have some allergies and requires a special diet to help manage them. He gets easily over excited when meeting new people. So he needs a guardian that's willing to work on some basic manners with him. A home that can also provide lots of exercise and outings is a must for this busy boy. Going to formal obedience classes would definitely be a good thing, not only for the learning but it's a good bonding opportunity for his new guardian.
