UTILITIES MANAGERLEVEL 2/3 WATER/WASTEWATER OPERATOR Due to an impending retirement, the District of Barriere is recruiting an experienced, forward-thinking, innovative, people manager looking for a new challenge within the world of municipal water and wastewater. Duties include the overall management of three deep wells, two reservoirs, three small but very different wastewater plants (including a Solar Aquatics greenhouse) accompanied by a septage receiving station and all associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will value integrity, reliability, respect, teamwork, and customer service, and be able to meet deadlines while handling multiple concurrent tasks. Attention to detail, work planning and presentation skills are required. The starting salary is $32.00 per hour with the opportunity of overtime.
