Heidi - Lop Eared Rabbit

Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 522557 Birthdate: January 31, 2016 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Meet Heidi, a small bundle of personality! Heidi was found as a stray outside after possibly being abandoned. Thankfully this lop-eared cutie was found by a kind citizen who brought her into the BC SPCA to find her second chance. Heidi is a funny gal who loves her veggies. She is very curious to meet new people and see new things and often can be found circling around your feet. She likes some attention and pets but can be nervous about handling so it is under her terms and she needs a gentle guardian. Like many rabbits she can be scared of being picked up at first. Heidi would do best in a household that has experience with rabbits to continue to help her get more comfortable when it comes to pets and scratches. Because she came into our care as a stray we don't know if she has been exposed to other animals but seems like she would be able to live with animal friends with proper, slow introductions. Heidi enjoys running around her enclosure and through her tunnels. She definitely loves to explore and it is important for rabbits to have space to run around and stretch their legs. Heidi is also doing fairly well at learning to use her litter boxes. Is this lop-eared beauty for you? She can't wait to find her fur-ever family.
