Shelter: BC SPCA - Kamloops & District Branch Animal ID: 535812 Birthdate: June 17, 2021 - Kitten Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male This young lad is looking for his family, could you be the family he has been looking for? Simon came into our care after being found in a hay field, but he has shown that the hay field life isn't for him! He is looking for that purr-fect family to snuggle with and receive endless pets. Simon still tends to be a little shy at first, and startled by loud noises and sudden movements, so his family will need to introduce themselves slowly and be patient as he continues to grow more comfortable in his fur-ever home. Simon has been around other cats and enjoys their company, and he would like to have a slow introduction to other animals in his fur-ever home. He just wants to make sure they become best friends! Don't forget, adopting a kitten is a big decision (and life long commitment to the cat!). Simon may be small and cute now, but he will grow into a big, beautiful cat that he is destined to be! Before taking the plunge, it is a good idea to research costs, training and socializing techniques etc. and should include all members of the family. The time it takes in the beginning (slow introductions, waking you up at night, socializing) more than pays itself back when your uncontrolled mass of energy grows to be an invaluable member of the family. Simon will need regular visits to the vet to keep his vaccines up to date, helping him to stay strong and healthy. An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal. Please note due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our adoption process has changed. Please visit our website https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/how-to-adopt/ for more information. All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application. ***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application. We are not able to call all applicants.
